How long is it between these?
Two dates, and the answer both ways: real time passed, and how the calendar reads it. They are not always the same number.
Questions people actually ask
- Why are there two answers?
- Because both are true and people want different ones. From 1 February to 1 March is "1 month" on the calendar and 28 days of real time. A notice period wants the first; a countdown wants the second.
- Does it handle leap years?
- Yes. 29 February is a real day here and is counted.
- Why is one of my days 23 hours?
- Because the clocks went forward that night. Midnight to midnight really was 23 hours, and the tool says so rather than rounding it away.
- Does the order matter?
- No. Put them in either order — if the end comes first we turn them round and say we did.
